Key Services

Areas covered

We provide a variety of supportive services for young people with learning disabilities, complex behaviours and health related conditions.

Our services are small and locally based in the community, close to the families and support networks that keep the children and young people safe, happy and putting them at the centre of what we do. We strongly believe that safe care is about communicating with everyone who is involved in the children's care, including the child/young person themselves, using their preferred communication method.

The ethos behind what we do is based around consistency in care and support by providing local services to children in their community and supported by families/carers, educational and health and social care professional who are involved in their lives and through good solid relationships we can ensure an effective approach to continuous support, growth an personal development of the young people we are privileged to support

We have a small RESIDENTIAL HOME for 4 young people, who have learning disabilities, autism and complex behaviours, where young people need support to grow and develop skills towards adulthood. The team are experienced in working with young people who may have communication difficulties and challenging behaviour and work with children/young people to learn and develop skills to self-regulate in ways that make sense to the young person.

We have a 5 bedded SHORT STAY / OVERNIGHT respite service which supports children and young people have a break in a fun environment, supporting children and young people to achieve short term goals. Staff are trained and experienced in working with children with complex medical needs

From October 2015 we will also be running an EXTENDED SERVICES club, for children aged 5-18 with learning disabilities, complex health needs and for young people with challenging behaviour. These services provide outdoor activities, sensory activities and life skills development opportunities.

We can also offer 1:1 support through our OUTREACH service providing fully trained staff who can support on a regular basis in the home or out in the community, attending events or just to give some extra support.
