Jude Theatre Company CIC is an Applied Theatre company that has been delivering performing arts interventions across the North-West & West-Midlands since 2008.

We divide our work into four closely linked categories:

  1. Regular youth and adult drama groups developing transferable life/social skills and confidence;
  2. Time-limited Projects to support participants of any age, background or ability to explore issues;
  3. Research projects for the development of theatre interventions and
  4. Professional performances for a thought provoking and accessible way of tackling issues.

Some of our most recent projects include the facilitation of drama groups including -
Friends for Leisure for young people with learning difficulties and disabilities in Macclesfield; S
Stage Fright
for adults in Ellesmere Port;
Sandbach Youth Theatre for 7-11s;
Jude's Young Drama Group 7-14s in Newcastle-under-Lyme and 5-8s in Alsager.

In addition, we deliver 8 projects including 4x4 weeks of a performing arts BTEC in 2 Midlands Prisons in association with Stoke-on-Trent College.

Our mission is to provide access to theatrical tools for individuals or groups who are marginalised by current provisions to support their right to experience physical and mental wellbeing, achieve and make a contribution.

We run outreach projects in and around Staffordshire and Parents/Carers are encouraged to contact us using email or phone
