Brighter Opportunities through Supported Play is a registered charity (1107392) which has been offering support to families since 1991 by providing short break care for their children and young people with learning and physical disabilities.

BOSP offers regular clubs at evenings, weekends and school holidays providing fun and exciting activities with social opportunities for children and young people with disabilities aged 4 years and upwards.

BOSP aims to develop the children and young people's independence, self-esteem and social skills in a supportive environment. BOSP has a high staff ratio so that medical and behavioural needs can be met. BOSP services are open to all children and young people with any disability.

Cognition and learning, Communication and Interaction, Sensory and/or physical development difficulties , Medical conditions , Emotional, social & mental health difficulties.

Age group

Primary, Secondary, Post 16, Transition to adult services.

Referral Process

Parents can self refer by phoning BOSP on 01277 624300 by email or through their Education, Health or Social Care professional. The BOSP office is open for session enquiries from 9.00am to 5.00pm Tuesday to Friday.
