June 2017 Newsletter

In this gorgeous heatwave, much use has been made of the outdoors, in exploring specialist equine assisted therapies, fast gaining ground as a mainstream form of therapeutic intervention for children and young people with a range of SEND. In particular, some centres support many children with autism, with complex needs, with profound and multiple learning difficulties, or with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. I am pleased that there are a number of centres for equine assisted therapy registered with The Local Offer.

On a more sombre note, there's a round up of news and reports following this year's General Election of 8th June 2017.
